Abstract

Prayer in everyday language: It is simply a ritual discourse that conveys an individual's concerns, that is, human requests, to the superhuman through words. In this sense, prayer is a kind of hymn, that is, a continuation of praise (mostly) through the same means, since its primary goal is to communicate information, represented by the individual's concerns and personal requests, to the superhuman recipient (God) through words.
